About us

Built on the belief that every body deserves to soar.

Wings began in a borrowed space with one aerial silk, three students, and a stubborn idea: that movement arts shouldn't require an able body to begin. Today we're a community of hundreds, still chasing the same simple thing — joy in motion, together.

Generations in the silks

Family is where it starts.

Wings is built for parents and kids, siblings and caregivers, to move together. Some of our most powerful moments happen when a child sees the grown-up they love climb the silk beside them — and realizes the air is theirs too.

Inclusion symbol

Our mission

"To provide inclusive movement arts experiences that empower individuals of every ability to build confidence, develop skills, express creativity, strengthen social connection, and soar beyond limitations."

We emphasize the mind–body–social connection, healing body, mind, and soul through movement.

Our vision

A world where movement spaces default to inclusion, where adaptive practice is the standard — not the exception — and where every student leaves taller, stronger, and more deeply connected than they came in.

How we are structured

Wings Inclusive Movement Arts is a for-profit LLC — the wellness center where classes, camps, and events happen.

Inclusive Movement Foundation is a separate non-profit organization. It funds scholarships, adaptive equipment, and free community programming so that no student is ever turned away for cost.

When you donate, your gift supports the non-profit foundation's work. When you register for a class or event, you are supporting the for-profit wellness center directly.

Meet the founder

Jennifer Rivera

SLPA, ITDS, Early Literacy Specialist, Tutor, Believer in Christ, Mother

Counseling & Human Services graduate, Hillsborough Community College — B.S. Arts

Wings was born from Jennifer's years walking alongside neurodivergent children and their families — as a speech therapist, early literacy specialist, and developmental specialist. She kept seeing the same thing: movement spaces that weren't built for the kids she loved.

So she built one. Wings is the wellness center she wished existed — a place where therapy-informed care meets the joy of flying, where every ability is welcomed and every family is held.
